Car window tinting

Car window tinting is a practical way of giving your vehicle a stylish look and also provides the glare and heat protection for extra vehicle safety by using a car window tinting film.

Many vehicle owners often intend to change the look of their vehicle and make their own more attractive. With dark tinted windows you can create cool effects. Car window tinting can also be excellently combined with car wrapping films. With the huge range of different tinting or brightness levels available, there is certainly something for everyone.

Effective glare and heat protection

Of course, it’s not always just about the look, but especially in the summer months about tangible heat protection. Most window tinting films have a high degree of heat protection so that the interior of the vehicle does not get too hot. The films absorb a large amount of the sun’s thermal radiation and only allow small amounts to penetrate inside. Darkening the panes not only reduces the heat intensity, but also the amount of light and thus the glare effect, which is more pleasant for the eyes, especially in bright sunshine.

What you cannot see, but is still there and has an effect on both the vehicle interior and the health of the occupants, is UV radiation from the sun, which, especially in the case of non-tinted vehicle windows, to a large extent penetrates through the glass.

Supreme functionality

Nowadays, many vehicles are supplied with tinted windows by the factory or can optionally be booked with the vehicle order. In that case it is important to know that the functionality of a factory-tinted window with regard to heat and UV protection differs from the functionality of subsequently installed car window tinting films. Most window tint films show a significantly higher level of heat and, above all, UV protection. Purely tinted windows allow a high proportion of heat and UV radiation to penetrate into the vehicle.

Installation

The car window tinting film is applied to the window from the inside, this is referred to as wet application. In order not to damage the freshly applied film or to remove it unintentionally, the panes should be kept closed for a few days until the adhesive has built up its full adhesion. Once the adhesive has developed its maximum adhesion, the windows can be opened again without any problem.

Should you ever wish to remove the tint film, this is not a problem. A professional removal with heat leaves the pane undamaged.

A tinting film for effective heat and glare protection with an attractive look is the Automotive Window Film - HP Pro series and is available in different degrees of tint that leaves no wishes unfulfilled.
