Incorporating Avery Dennison’s patented Easy Apply RS™ and Easy Apply™technologies, the MPI products enable correct positioning and easy application of the printed materials on challenging surfaces like corrugated substrates or 3D curved surfaces. Installers of almost any skill level should be able to apply MPI films with the Easy Apply technology and limit wrinkling and air bubbles. In addition, Avery Dennison has developed digital overlamination (DOL) films to accompany its MPI media. These films offer a protective overlay for inkjet-printed graphics to improve durability and functionality. With DOL films, printed images can be protected from abrasion, humidity, UV light, heat, dust and even graffiti. The high-transparency overlaminates are combined with a specially-formulated adhesive that bonds the film and the printed layer perfectly, greatly improving the visual impact of the graphics.
