China is becoming a nation of car lovers. There are now more 30 million private cars on the country's roads and many proud owners who would like to customize their vehicle with a new look. To satisfy this huge demand StarTouch recently launched in Shanghai to offer an innovative and unique car wrapping service enabled by Avery Dennison products and technologies.

Avery Dennison's Graphics & Reflective Products Division worked closely with Star Touch as it designed and developed its breakthrough business concept, providing application training and product support for diverse car wrapping services, including:

• Color change: Top-class conformable pressure-sensitive films provide long-term color durability and withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
• Paint protection: Unique clear or color pressure-sensitive films for maximum paint protection.
• Personalized decoration: Digital printable pressure-sensitive films offer colorful graphics to meet consumers’ individual needs and also protect paintwork.

Using Avery Dennison's unique Easy Apply™ technology, the Star Touch applicators can easily apply graphics to cars, without bubbles and wrinkles. In addition, the graphics can be easily removed, without causing any damage to the underlying paint, whenever the car owner feels like a change.

The quality of the Avery Dennison products and application technique was amply demonstrated at the Star Touch grand store opening, during which the first car was redecorated. Originally sporting a high-gloss finish, it was transformed with Avery Graphics premium matte black film to provide a superior look and improved surface protection.
